Janet Marie Grodevant, Holmen, WI  (1937 - 2013)

Janet Marie Grodevant, 75, of Holmen, passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 26, 2013. She was born on May 1, 1937, to George Bateman and Pearl Steinstra. She married Leroy Grodevant on Oct. 3, 1970, in La Crosse, WI. Janet enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines. She loved shopping and cooking and enjoyed camping with her friends. Janet always liked to help people.
Janet is survived by her sons, Dennis and David Arnett; stepdaughter, Kathy Grodevant; brother, Al Bateman of Janesville; and sister, Judy Muenzenberger of Dakota, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; twin sister, Janet Parker; and her dog, Cosmo.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 5:30 pm at COULEE REGION CREMATION GROUP, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Rev. Louis Stoker will officiate.
