This is a photo of my son who was from Janesville- a troubled youth. After no help from the schools or the courts to get him help. His father took him and now he just got a full scholarship to Oauchita Baptist University in Arkansas in football- Punter. Pretty Good for flunking his first year in both Craig and Parker. What does that say for Janesville schools or the court system. I had to give up my son to get him help. This is at Oauchita Baptist University against Texas College. End of August 09. OBU won.

+8 or 9......It sounds like what did him the most good was removing him from his irresponsible parent. I seriously doubt the court or school systems were to blame for the failure in his case.......

Great for your Son and Husband, sounds like he knows what he is doing as a parent, as far as putting the blame on Janesville and Craig and the city of Janesville you should have put the blame where it belonged on you yes on you as a parent that didn't have a clue on how to raise a kid.

It means you are a bad parent. Why is it the school's fault? Glad he turned his life around though.

Congrats to your son. I agree that the Janesville schools are failing a lot of our children. Your son is fortunate to be able to locate to another state and school and doing so well. I feel for you for having to sacrifice being without your son and having to be so far apart from each other so that he can get a good education. Good luck to your son and you made the right decision to let him get a good education in a place where he will succeed.

I agree with cottonjoe, this statement by the parent speaks volumes about her inability to properly raise her kids. Also, she is really blaming the school system for HER kid having leagal issues, wow, that is all I have to say.

More like, "what does it say about his parents' inability to raise a good citizen". Don't blame the Janesville School System, society, or anyone else for your shortcomings - that's the ultimate cop out. I'm happy your boy is doing well now, and hope he understands the virtues of personal responsibility more than his mother apparently does.

His father must be a good role model.

It says absolutely nothing about Janesville schools or the justice system-but your comment speaks volumes about your quest to assign blame for this young man being troubled. looks like a chage of scenery has done him well.

Good luck to this young man.
