this is BROOKLYN. I was at the humane society when this little hound look-in puppy come out at me just a bark-in and wiggling her little body as she had no tail to wiggle.i asked to see her and we went outside she took one look at me as i did her and we both fell in love.we sat down in the play area brooklyn umped up so fast grabbed my visor of my head and off she went at that time i knew we were meant for each other.

Hi! My name is Propofol. My mom is a nurse in the ICU and thought that I was so naughty as a kitten that this was the perfect name for me! I am white and naughty but have come to love my name!! Propofol is something given to people in the hospital in their IV to help keep them calm when they are sick and have to be on the ventilator. It is white and so am I! I am proud of my name. I am sitting here by the whirlpool bath because I love playing in there. I also love to play in the sink and pull out the drain stoppers. I love to jump on the dresser at night when my mommy is sleeping and knock everything on the floor too. I love dogs.............I love everyone. Come and see me!!!! And I love to make people feel better!

My family and I adopted Tom about 3 years ago from the Rock County Humane Society. He was rescued from a home in Rock County along with 43 of his brothers and sisters. When they found him he was malnurished and covered in feces. When my husband and I saw the article in the paper we decided we wanted to give one of the huskies a good home and a second chance at life. Tom is a great dog and a companion to my sons. We are so happy to have him in our family!

Maggie May is a 5 year old Lhasa Apso that was given up by her previous owner (who had had her from a pup) to the humane society for adoption. She said she didn't wag her tail, wouldn't sit on a lap, walk on leash or ride in car. She was very afraid and hadn't been socialized when I adopted her on May 19th of this past year. She's now a very confident and friendly little dog that has completed her CGC and will be advancing in obedience competition in the future. She loves people and can't wait to greet anyone she meets. The picture attached was taken at K&W Greenery this past November for the humane society funraiser. The previous year, her previous owner tried to take her for pictures for this fundraiser where she pulled out of her collar, ran across the parking lot and hid under a car until four people managed to coax her out. This year she went to K&W Greenery and acted like she owned the place ... as displayed in this picture which I call her "Miss Diva" picture.
