Do you love Doyle as much as you love Obama? He like Obama said he wouldn't raise taxes on middle class. Did you see Robert Gibbs on tv not answering the question as to why Obama is raising healthcare taxes? Liar. Liar. Liar. Same with Gitmo. Same with Iraq. All campaign promises and LIES. There is your hope and change! What a joke! All he is doing is pushing a moronically Liberal agenda.
justsaynotomath let me again preface this by saying I am not a republican or a democrat, but the mess we are in was not all Bush's fault its called a democratically controlled legislive branch that also conributed to the mess we are in. No Bush is not innocent either. I am not totally convinced yet that Obama is qualified to lead this country by his actions thus far. Yes it has only been 5 months, but so far he has been a typical politician, alot of hot air and promises and nothing done to back it up. By the way his great February stimulus package that was supposed to save millions of jobs has not worked. We have actually lost more jobs than was projected without the stimulus. We'll see how the next 3 1/2 years go, but I think you are jumping the gun on crowning him the best president ever. There is no basis for that statement yet and its not looking good either. If he gets national Health care passed, he will be the worst president ever. It will destroy our system. Ask most Canadians what they think of national health care!
Obama is and will be the best president we have ever had ! 5 months in office cleaning up the Bush mess that will take years to undo. elected officials are just that elected to do their job. do you want them to go to the bathroom in public too ? come on people Bush sent us down the path of war and debt and now you want to blame the people cleaning up his mess. WAKE UP !!!
Doyle needs to go. It is beyond me how we ever even elected him. I am not a staunch Democrat or Republican and I agree that too much is done behind close doors. I personally want to see true change in this state. I am supporting Scott Walker for governor in 2010. When he says something he means it and does it! How many politicians do we know that promise the world, but do not produce? Sounds like Bush and Obama both!
There is no place in government for closed door discussion of a public matter such as a state budget. Both parties are guilty of it when in power. Personally, I think that is why the party in power only stays in power for a short period of time. We get sick of the deal cutting behind closed doors and throw the bums out. Transparency, yeah right - just another overused phrase coming out of Madison.
But you only have to look at the example being made by the top Democrat- our President. Everything substantive is being done by stealth.
