"Just like there is doubt in some people's minds about if Bin Laden really was killed or if he died in 2001."

Only crazy minds. What have you been listening to? You do realize there are videos of him after 9/11, right?

"There is an argument that can be made as to who really gave the order that terrible day."

Nope. No argument. Just lots of crazy. Let me guess. You think 9/11 was an inside job.

As he had declared war on the US, even before 9/11, he was a legitimate military target. No trial needed.

Zoom... I said that because Bin Laden had ALOT OF HATRED FOR AMERICANS in his heart this is true. However I do feel that Bin Laden would have taken credit for anything against American's because he thought that he was untouchable by the US. Just like there is doubt in some people's minds about if Bin Laden really was killed or if he died in 2001. There is an argument that can be made as to who really gave the order that terrible day.

Flashback: here's a classic fownews.com article, which quotes Bin Laden several times admitting to 911. The funniest part is when Bin Laden calls Bush a little girl.

Where do you get this stuff from? bin Laden admitted to being the man at the top, and responsible for 9/11. Have you not seen his videos? Wow.

"I don't agree with releasing the photo's, Bin Laden wasn't charged, wasn't able to defend himself nor face his accusors in a court of law."

Dumbest comment yet. How was he not able to defend himself? Why should we care? He was a terrorist, at war with the U.S. He was a casualty of war, nothing more.

frogger, burial at sea is not really "proper". Do you really think a dumpster would be better than leaving his body to the fishes? It was a brilliant move. No place to be martyred, and basically a big middle finger to the extremists.

Of course the photos shoudn't be released. Everyone knows he's dead. One of his wives saw him die. What other proof do you need?

By the way, the U.S. didn't hang Saddam Hussein, Iraq did. The U.S. government wasn't resposible for releasing the video.

molly49... I just have an idea!! Isn't that all it took for Obama to win the Nobel Peace Prize? I am sitting here laughing because little do you know. I am not riled up as you put it. Who are you to judge me? People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks inside! See you tomorrow.

earnednotgiven....while I don't know to believe or not to believe you had anyone KILLED in tower 2, or that you've served this country...I can believe you don't represent the majority of AMERICANS with some of your ideas. I still stand by my idea that they are killers! So happy you sleep better knowing how I feel....and so happy I was able to get you all riled up, it's because you are wrong. I pray your supposed loved one can not see how sympathetic you are for the person that killed them!

When you have a President, who has not been all that honest with the American people. It is very hard to take the man on his word. I personally do not trust him he has lied to us to many times. I want proof.

God, Please be with our leadership not only in our State Capitol, but those that we have elected to represent us in DC and around the World.Today we need you more than ever. Please Help, Guide, and Protect our Soldiers as they are the ones that are going to be gone after while they serve on foreign soil while we sit here and type on these blogs. Please watch over them all!!! In Jesus Name, AMEN!!

molly49... Thank You for your input, I pray that you find peace with all that hatred you are carrying around. I did lose someone in tower 2 actually, and I have been overseas to serve. But you wouldn't know that. Only God knows who actually gave the order that day, and now we will all have to wait until Judgment Day to know the truth. I NEVER STATED HE WAS A GOOD PERSON FOR THE RECORD. QUIT READING INTO MY WORDS. And I was pointing out that we give serial killers trials. So if we go by your post Molly49 then it would be ok for our soldiers to go into Guantanamo Bay and just open fire????? They are standing up for a cause, they might have known about the plan for Sept 11, 2001!!! I am glad that you Molly49 are a JUDGE, JURY and EXECUTIONER!!! That will make me sleep better at night knowing you are watching my back!!! NOT!!! Why should we stoop to their level to begin with? God Bless Molly49!!!

earnotgiven...I don't care either way if they release pictures or not! But to say he was a good person? He deserved a trial? Tell that to the families that saw someone they love fly into the twin towers at his hands! Tell that to a loved one that may have saw a family member or friend jump out of a window to escape the fire! You are an embarresment to the American people. I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms where osama was living, maybe you can go an comfort his "people". You repulse me. To think he deserve a chance to go to trial is wrong. He revoked that right when he gave the order to kill AMERICANS.

Everyone in this country has rights but nobody wants to see what it takes to protect them. For every hamburger made, a cow must die.

I have a problem with "the proper burial at sea". It is nice of us to burry him the way customs say he should be burried BUT the guy was a monster and should be buried in a dumpster with the other trash. He did NOT earn the right for a proper burial.

We got him. We don't need the morbid pictures. I didn't need to see Sudam hung, I don't want to see these. Those who don't believe wouldn't even with pictures. I also didn't need to see all the celebrating. There should have been quiet relief at our churches.

Third_eye... so it is ok for us the US to stoop to their level? We have soldier's serving all over the world protecting people that aren't appreciative at all for what we are doing for them. But why should be belittle ourselves and do something they would do? We as a Nation are better than that, think of what might happen here in the States alone... It isn't an easy thing sometimes to do the right thing, but we have too. I thank you for your view point though. God Bless

in_my_opinion... I am voicing my opinion. I think that the pictures could cause more problems for our men and woman fighting overseas and here in the US. I agree there is alot of crap coming out of the DC and our of Madison, but here is a solution.... RECALL EVERYONE AND START FROM SCRATCH!!! Then politicians will know we as a collective body mean business about our politics!

No! We don't make a habit of releasing photos of the dead. Osama's death doesn't and shouldn't change that that.
As for earnednotgiven: You should move to Switzerland or something!

What is the difference between a US citizen and an enemy combatant where rights are concerned? hint; one of them has none.

Maybe we will also now be able to see the evidence that it was Bin Laden who was responsible for the events of 9.11.01.

One good reason to release the photos, is that the the u.s. government has waged a 10 year war, killing thousands of civilians, eroding the rights of the people in this nation, and wasting billions of taxpayer dollars.

The only ones who want it released are the pundents and a few of the MSM. This way they have a topic to bluster about for a few more weeks until they have milked the cow dry or something new comes upto latch onto.

I don't agree with releasing the photo's, Bin Laden wasn't charged, wasn't able to defend himself nor face his accusors in a court of law. This principal is what AMERICA is based on!! He had NO WEAPON when he was shot. Was he a good guy, personally I don't think he was after the information from the MEDIA RELEASED for all these years. I didn't know him, nor would I want to know him. I do hope however that we are better than those that we are fighting and do publish death pictures. We owe it to our children to let the healing begin however, if we breed anger, hate, and bitterness into our children we are never going to get along with each other on this place called Earth. We once stood for HONOR, INTEGRITY, PROSPERITY, we were the country that EVERYONE wanted to LIVE IN and be like!! What happened?

I have yet to hear a good reason to release the photos.
.
Those that don't believe still won't.
.
They did it to us...we are better than them.
.
Who cares what the Muslim world thinks? We are better than that.
.
They will be released eventually...nobody knows that for sure.
.
There is no reason to do it. He is dead end of story.
