Kenosha man held in fatal crash

KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — A Kenosha area man is suspected of driving drunk in a traffic crash that killed his passenger early Friday.

Kenosha police say the 22-year-old woman was trapped in the front seat after the car crashed into a tree at a high rate of speed about 2:30 a.m.

The 21-year-old driver had gotten out of the car and was walking around when officers arrived. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after she was extricated from the car.

The driver was taken to a local hospital where he’s under police guard.

Police say the man and woman recently moved to the area from New Mexico.

45,000 die in America Every Year due to drunk driving, yet there is so much attention to Iraq where just a few thousand have died over the past several years....

WHEN WILL PEOPLE WAKE UP AND REALIZE HOW DESCRUCTIVE ALCOHOL IS TO AMERICAN SOCIETY????

But sometimes I think with so many stupid people around, I can make a good living for myself... do I really want to wake people up???

Now put some teeth in the charge on him. min of 2nd degree homicide. But as per WI norms, he'll probably get a slap on the wrist.
