JANESVILLE Brian L. Anderson will spend the next 15 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy in 2007.
Rock County Judge Alan Bates on Tuesday sentenced Anderson, 22, Janesville, to prison and another 10 years of extended supervision.
Referring to a pre-sentence report that listed three juvenile convictions for sexually assaulting children, Bates said: “Mr. Anderson is a dangerous person, and the public deserves to be protected from him.”
Anderson was charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13, but the criminal complaint against him says the boy told investigators that Anderson had fondled him on several occasions.
Anderson was “clearly unable to control his impulses,” Bates said.
The judge added that Anderson acted on his impulses over long periods because the pre-sentence report said he talked about grooming his child victims.
When he imposed the sentence, Bates said: “This is the best way I can protect the public and children.”
Anderson is not eligible for prison programs that could shorten his sentence.
As part of an agreement to get Anderson’s guilty plea, the Rock County District Attorney’s Office dropped a charge of felony bail-jumping. The bail-jumping charge was read into Anderson’s court record.
The bail-jumping criminal complaint charged that Anderson had unlawful contact with a 3-year-old boy after he was charged with assaulting the 7-year-old boy.
The 3-year-old’s mother was going to help him go to the bathroom because he was being toilet-trained, but Anderson demanded that he help the boy and that the mother leave the bathroom, according to the criminal complaint.
Anderson locked the door and kept the boy in the bathroom for several minutes. The mother told investigators she could her son crying and Anderson saying something like “it’s OK,” the criminal complaint charges.

Nothing a rusty carrot peeler and some lye won't fix.
I am a mom, and I would not wait for our antiquated justice system to catch up with these monsters. Hell hath no furry like a mother scorned.

If anyone finds sex offenders as appalling as I do please do not patronize FROSTY FREEZE in Janesville. The owner is a convicted sex offender who assaulted his young male employees for years. The fact he isn't behind bars is disgusting!
