Kicks section
Kicks is the Gazette's weekly entertainment section. It includes reviews of upcoming movies, music and video releases, restaurants as well as listings for upcoming regional and local events.
If there's something you want to see in kicks, just meet these deadlines:
Features
Submit suggestions for feature stories at least one month before the event. Include event, date, time, place and contact name and phone number.
Quick kicks
Submit complete items at least two weeks before the event.
Reviews
Restaurant reviews will be done as time and space permit. The Gazette does not review nonprofessional entertainers.
Night music
All listings for night music must be submitted by 5 p.m. Tuesday for that Thursday’s publication. Leave complete information, including venue, band, day and time, at (608) 754-3311, Ext. 258. If your band or venue has its schedule set up for a month or more ahead, send or e-mail the full schedule to the address below or fax (608) 755-8349.
