On Crosswalk where Janesville teen hit draws scrutiny

The bus had stopped, the truck passed the bus on the right. This has nothing to do with the kids crossing and everything to do with the truck making a illegal pass.Take a look at the cars stopped in the photo...The way I was taught is you stop far enough behind car in front so you can see their back tires....Why? Less chance of a chain reaction if car behind is rear ended. Looks to me as at least 5 drivers in picture themselves didn't follow the rules of the road.Just like the truck driver that hit this child IN a CROSSWALK !

Janesville-Beloit is still short 9000 jobs from 2008.The story in the paper today explained it, this is the watered down version. In 2008 30,000 plus were working, now 2012 there is 21,000.Scotty needs to get some of the jobs here that he promised.

truthteller....Really? Before you start calling anyone a loser and taking the easy way out..I assume you are also talking about the honor student that found herself pregnant and knew she needed a education. The homeless student that could no longer face their peers when the life they once had was no more. The foster child that maxed out of the system(18yrs.old)that needed 2 months before graduation ....Those of you that think you know why a student is at RRC really have no clue or compassion for what these students are really at RRC for,or what they will and continue to go through.I'm very glad to see this school district is showing compassion and understanding the need for this service.

When you people that want a right to work state get what you want...Be prepared, you think you have it made now?? What will you do when your employer can work you 60 hours a week at straight time? That is right overtime pay will be no more and there is noting you can do about it.Unions have helped all workers in this country one way or another.Be-careful what you wish for,you may not like the end result.

juliew...joy is partly right on her comment.Retired firemen do not receive Social Security, regardless of their age the only retirement $$ is from their pension.May I also say it's a very nice pension at that.
