On Once Highway 26 is routed around town, will Milton turn into Bypass-ville?
The dept. of transportation's ill-conceived plans for highway 26 will leave a lasting scar on the local communities. It doesn't make sense to design a truck bypass with roundabouts that are too small for trucks. Some plans must look good on paper in an office somewhere in Madison, but, in practice, the transportation department has an inherent flaw built into it's programs - it allows novel, useless, untested ideas to become a reality, all in the name of expanding the department's operation - growing our huge, over-sized government.

It will be even harder now to get a quality AirFest show together since the airport might be closed and the participants are unlikely to commit.
On We have the opportunity to reinvest in public schools
It's time to stimulate the private school sector by investing taxpayer money (vouchers) into private businesses that operate private schools. Eventually, we can transition from a public school system to a completely private school system. Cross your fingers!
On Angela Rhodes out as humane society director
Who put yada in charge of limiting public comment? S/he admits to not knowing something, so they should 'shut 'er down'.
On Are your sidewalks icy?
The sidewalks will be fine in the spring - until then, go ahead and realize that you live in a wintery climate and that you really don't need to continue your pathetic whining.
