We used to watch Larry, Curly and Moe. Now we have Bill, Lori and DuWayne, what a fiasco watching these stooges in action. Those 3 own the problem and are doing NOTHING but spinning their wheels! Raise my taxes and let's get back to educating our kids. Bill and DuWayne do not make decisions that are good for students. Lori it's pathetic that YOU are putting this on the 3 unions waiting for them to cover mismanagement by you 3 stooges! Murray and Hesselbacher get it!

Realist: You are absolutely on target! While the board is being "studerized" tonight be sure to go and let Lori, Bill S. and D.Severson know that this is their mark on Janesville. This is a result of mismanagement on their watch. This is ALL their doing because they were the elected board (notice I didn't say leaders)when it all went down! What a legacy they have left! Raise my taxes please, I am a taxpayer and I care about the valuation of my properties! To the 3 unions do not open your contracts, this is not your responsibility! To those of you having contracts with Billy and his business go in and tell him you want to open your signed contract and pay less, I am sure he is willing, what a joke!

Thank you AllFor1, It is an absolute farce for Bill to address school district of Janesville employees and extend well wishes for a successful year. His empty words mean nothing when his actions have attacked our students opportunities for success. It is appalling how far down Sodemann, Stottler, and Severson D. have dragged the school district during their tenure. Our reponsibility to our children is to leave our world a better place, under this leadership not a chance!!! These folks are the decision makers(NOT leaders) and THEY own the demise. No excuses THEY own it! I agree with luvujvl that this time Dr. Schulte is right on the mark. Thank you to Dr. Schulte for standing up to Stottler and her teabagger tandem for serving up more cuts. Stottler is the same person that was in the balcony at the capitol applauding the WEASEL'S bill. Now she wants more cuts, how about holding me and my tax paying neighbors responsible for helping our students?

Seriously, thanks for clarifying election results. The SDJ did indeed have dire economic conditions before Walker was voted in. The definition of insanity is to repeat the same behavior time and time again and expect different results. Our community voted BOE president back in, this after he and our administration led the "Journey" to financial demise and the exodus of many administrators. How is that working for the students of Janesville? When the exodus of students to parochial schools and schools in the immediate area begins we can thank our re-elected BOE president and the administration that he retains. Knilans IS the Wisconsin Koch Governor's puppet. He never responded to any of my communications. Recall WALKER and all the Koch Brother's Kool aid drinking wannabees. Recalls are the course of action with persons who will not come to the table to talk. Oh wait, you don't have a problem with Nickolaus finding ballots but recalls are not appropriate. The KOCH brothers have changed the game along with all of corporate leaders that don't pay their share of tax.

Amazing to me that the SDJ has an anti-bullying policy for staff and students, but it apparently does NOT apply to the BOE president. Bill S. will enlist the media and brow beat the SDJ employees that have negotiated agreements whenever the whim strikes him. On more than one occasion he has been told that his behavior is unwelcome, the answer is NO! Bill's answer is to roll it out again with his teaparty cronies, AGAIN, AGAIN and AGAIN. In our schools this behavior is known as BULLYING, when Bill S. does it he and our board call it negotiating. Stand fast to all 3 associations that have negotiated contracts. George Bailey outlasted Potter and you folks can also outlast Janesville's town bully!
