ame8736; Thank you! I've spent all of my life believing in this country, and now I am starting to doubt it. We fought for our independence partly because of all the taxes. Now we are taxed on everything! The Politicians aren't really for the people, their for themselves and what it gets them, not what it does for us. If we really knew where all our hard earned tax dollars were going, there would be another Revolutionary War against ourselves.
I'm just worried that some day in the not to distant future, that there won't be a USA. We'll be taken over by some other country that owns more of our land than Americans do, and our Politicians will let it happen because it will put money in their pockets and thats all they really care about. I know this is off the main stream of this subject but I needed to get it out there. Money is the root of all evil. And we all know there aren't any poor Politicians. Just wish they really had us in mind when they pass their laws.

You are missing the point. I don't hate anyone. If you want to move to the USA legally, great! But you must learn to READ and SPEAK our language. We shouldn't have to change everthing for you. Pretty soon every package, sign, newspaper, Ect. Ect. will have to be 10 times as big and have 52 different languages on them. Why are we just Catering to the Hispanic communities. Like you say, "There Are Americans here from all over the World" how come they aren't getting their native language written out on everthing as well. We thank those who have come here legally and helped make this country what it is. But we can't let a bunch of freeloaders come in and destroy what we've all worked so hard for. Like the Social Security System. Do you think it is fair for someone who has not paid one penny into it, to be able to collect benifits from it. Would you like the banks to tell you that the money that is in your savings account can be used by anyone that wants it? It's one bad thing for them to allow legal citizens to draw off it even though they haven't paid into it. It's another for now to let Illegals to! And as for Christian Symbols to be ruled out of being displayed anywhere we want. It has nothing to do with seperation of Church and State. That was meant for not having the Churches run our Government. Just seeing a Christian Symbol doesn't do that. If you don't like the Christian Symbols, don't look at them, don't say it offends you, don't look. I see several things all over the country I don't like, but I don't go around forcing them out. They may offend me but I just choose to ignor them. How come they don't stop any and all other religous symbols from being displayed? If the way it is here isn't to your liking than go somewhere else. Americans READ and SPEAK English, and a very high percentage are Christians. That is what this USA was founded on. Like it or Leave it!!! I used to think this was the Greatest Country in the World, but I'm not so sure anymore. I don't HATE anyone, and if you want to come here to live legally and make a living for yourself, great! If you want to come here, illegaly, live off others and then try to change our lives by forcing your religous symbols and your languages on us, stay away. Go back to where you came from, and stop stealing our AMERICA. And as for the Spanish class saying the Pledge, keep it in your classroom. How many other really want to hear you say it, out side of that room?

Thank GOD someone is protesting this!!! My ancestors came here from Germany. My dad was wounded in WWII and later died from those injuries. They came her legally and learned the language. They worked hard and paid their own way and helped make this country what it was. Now your working at destroying what they worked, fought and died for! If you don't like English and the fact we believe in GOD, then go back to where you came from. I'm sure there are a lot of people immagrating to those countries and forcing their Governments to switch their beliefs and languages. The majority of us Americans need to get up off our lazy butts and start a movement to stop what is going on. SPEAK ENGLISH AND LET US SHOW THAT WE BELIEVE IN ONE TRUE GOD AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET TO HELL OUT. We don't stop you from believing what you want and saying what you want but don't stop us either. We've allowed to many of you to make changes to our ways, that it is destroying our AMERICA. GET OUT AND STAY OUT!!!

House: Are you one of the victims. By your comments, either that or you were someone elses victim. You seem very bitter about this type of case. Is it only because you are a women? If you are right though, Mr. Huber will get what he deserves from the court. Even though we as a society would like to stand him up against a wall and stone him first, society also will not allow that. But how much is enough or how much is too much. 20 years, 40, 60, life. Will any of it change what happened to the victims. With him sitting in Prison, will they still not worry about some other man assaulting them. They will know that he can't do it again, but that is no guarantee it couldn't happen again. Man is one of Gods worst creations. Like everyone says "They think with their Penis" but most of them don't do anything about the sexual thaughts that are always in their heads. And with out Man women couldn't survive and visaversa. The man that did these things, needs to be punished severly, but this man they have; if guilty, will never see his wife and child again. At least away from confinement in a Prison. I know what your thinking now, HE SHOULD OF THOUGHT OF THAT, but from what wakeup has written, it doesn't sound like he's been married long and his child is only 4 months old. Also he could not of been thinking clearly back then, to think he wouldn't get caught. A wife and children most likely were not even in his thaughts. He will get what is coming to him, one way or another.

Wakeup; Everyone seems to think you must be family. If so, I truely feel for you. I can't even imagine what your family is going through. I know others are thinking "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE VICTIMS" and I feel for them even more. But as another Christian we all know that GOD will be our true Judge and Jury and even if Mr. Huber is found not guilty but did the crimes, he will pay for it in the end no matter what society does to or for him. Be strong and Pray that all of us are forgiven for our sins, cause in his glorious eyes all sins are equal and we will all be equally punished for them. There won't be different levels for Hell or Heaven. Pray for the Victims also for they have suffered much. God be with all of you, pray for his forgiveness.

evansvillehousewife; Love him, what makes you think I even know him. I have just been reading alot of these Blogs, and feel we don't really know the truth. We have been taught to believe everything we read in the papers and see on TV. When in fact it should be just the opposite. Do you know that there are actually laws on the books that give the Police the right to lie to anyone to try to get evidence in a case. Check out DNA sites and see if I am wrong, then get back to me at this site. I just, am very surprised that the Press has put in the papers and even on the TV,and especially even in the Shopping News; (since when do they do that?), what they have. This trial, now may not even take place in this county let alone state. No matter what he did, there is no way for him to get a fair trial,(even if he shouldn't deserve one) any where near this area. I want Justice just as much as you. But I know of several individuals that have had their lives destroyed by the Press, then found not guilty and the real criminals caught and convicted. What does the Press do but put a small article barried in the back of the paper letting the few that might stumble upon it know the truth, while the one who had their life destroyed trys to get it back in order. Justice is supposed to be blind and your supposed to be innocent till proven guilty. NOT in this Country anymore. Sure we all feel wronged by what happened in the OJ case, but most people can't afford to buy their way out of a crime. I just haven't spoken out till now, because I wanted to wait till the evidence presented itself. As for the Victims, I hope and pray; even though you won't, that they find the closure they so much have been looking for when this is finally over. There can be no worse crime other than murder, and I'm glad for them that this wasn't the case in these crimes. They have suffered more than any one can imagine and deserve to have their attacker put away. Lets' make sure they have it right.

Until the official Written DNA Evidence is in, which could be weeks or months, the DA and the Police are still not without any doubt 100% absolutely sure this is the right man no matter what they put out to the Press. A down and dirty test may only tell them that this mans' description matches, White male 6' with Blue eyes. And from what their reports say, most of that was seen in the dark and that before his picture was put out, none of the Victims saw him clear enough to pick him out of a lineup. If you go to DNA.GOV or any other DNA site, they will tell you that it will take at least a week or more to confirm and that is if there isn't a backlog at there Lab. According to the News Reports, Wisconsin is backed up till 2010, IF-IF, they get 135 new employees ASAP. With all the Sexual Assault cases going on in this State, we all should ask ourselves how this one was any more important than all the rest, and some of those involved MURDER. Every victim of these horrible crimes is just as important as any other. I find it unusual that anyone at the Madison Crime Lab could push this one through sooner than others that have been waiting for weeks or months already. As I read it the DA only had Verbal Confirmation, and not written. So did the DA just put this out to get the Bail higher? Do they really have the right man? Is the real guy just waiting for this to be over so he can start again? I just hope they know what they are doing, for the Victims Sake. But how long did they sit on the fingerprint after the State Crime Lab couldn't figure it out, and if they couldn't figure that out how good are they really at doing DNA testing. Could some other National DNA testing lab revearse there results? How many Criminals are out there with extra time to do more criminal acts, because they aren't that good at what they do? Why wasn't this fingerprint sent to the FBI ASAP after their result came back negative? And if it was sent 9 years ago why did it take so long to find Mr. Huber. From what I have read his prints were already in our States System. We all want these crimes to be solved! We all want the Criminals Punished! But before we act with our voices on this site, we should sit back and wait till all the evidence is clear. Sounding off is fine, but I think we've already Crucified this man, and if you are at all of the Christian Faith, remember what happened to our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. For the victims, I hope there termoil is finally over. But I am waiting till there is proof without a doubt, that this is there man. His family has already gone through HELL and then some, and will suffer even more if He is found guilty. I really feel for them, especially his wife and child. Just think; if JPD and our State Crime Lab was as good as most of us seem to think they are, how many of these crimes shouldn't of even happened! THINK ON THAT ONE FOR A BIT !

On Hearing set in serial-rape case

Rape is a very serious crime and the criminal should be punished severly. Murder is even worse but they tend to get off with a lighter sentence than a rapist. WHY? And why does the DA and the Media make a sexual assault sound even worse than it all ready is? I was talking to someone this weekend that read this article and thought that Mr. Huber was accused of assaulting 6 different 13 year olds, or assaulted the same one 6 times, when in fact when someone is sexually assaulted, each time that the person touches the victims private areas such as the breasts, rear, or vagina, even without actually having sex with them, each time is considered an assault. Therefore if Mr. Huber touched 6 different parts of a victims body, it would be 6 sexual assaults. Just thought you should know this. He may be an animal but not quit as bad as they make it sound. And if the man they were searching for that had raped a 6 year old, only got 6 years, will Huber, if found guilty; only get 10. Or will Judge Daley and the DA decide that they are now going to make an example of him to make up for all their other mistakes. I'm not sure what is fair, and I can't imagine what the assault victims have gone through, but at least they are still alive. I had a friend killed and the murderer only got 10 years with a chance of parole in 7. How fair is that? Mr. Huber does have a wife and child that he may never see again, if he is found guilty and Judge Daley and the DA do their thing. And I know if it were my daughter I'd want him hung from the nearest tree, but there does need to be some sort of balance set for punishments. Look at what O. J. got away with, or Coby Bryants sexual assault. I guess money can buy your way out of anything! This coming from, what a lot of people consider; a bleeding heart liberal, but I'll never vote for Daley again and you shouldn't either. Enough said!
