Back in the day 7 or 8 of us were partying pretty hard, ready to leave, and spied a cop across the street from our den of iniquity. Well 1 bud didn`t drink, and agreed to leave 1st, acting drunk when he left. You know, staggering, then had trouble unlocking the car, etc. Anyway, the cop followed him, and then the rest of us left, going the opposite way. It was sweet!!
Btw, it is illegal for cops to sit close to bars, but it`s obvious that they do it.

analertcitizen: Ditto. My friends and I did it ONCE. We just drove around "bombing" only people we knew thinking it was fun and a great way to pass a hot summer day. We really had no idea that we could damage anything. As we approached a VW Beetle coming toward us all 4 of us launched our balloons and BAM---a busted windshield. We knew, so we went back and apologized and said we`d pay for the damage. Ended up that we had to go to our aquaintenance`s father and repeat our apology and beg for mercy. Luckily they did have mercy on our souls, as the police had caught wind of it also by then.

Dandelions are never gone or done unless you dig em out or poison em. They simply don`t flower any longer that year, and then they are busy reseeding theirselves and spreading.

That`s the 5th incident locally I`ve read about since Boston. It really is ridiculous! Don`t pop balloons or open letters. What a joke! The terrorists have most definitely won!

THANK YOU, for clearing this up. Also currently I have 3 Rose Breasted Grosbeak`s (2 males, 1 female) on my feeder. They just showed up a few days ago, and are quite spectacular.

I`ve had these birds at my feeder in Beloit Township, which I thought were called house finches, around for 4 yrs straight now, year round.

Especially have to watch out for the cycles that travel the yellow line. I`m not at all sure why they do that. Seen it twice in the last week for long stretches.

I agree with Emmo. I think it looks stupid, but they should be able to wear em however they want.
The best is when the cops are chasing them and they are trying to run and pull them up. Easy catch for the cops. I`ve seen this on TV a few times. It is hilarious!
