The reason so many people care about what happens in the sports world is that it gives us something to focus on instead of all the bad news. It's not the most important article in the newspaper, but it gives us a reason to cheer, be happy, and look forward to something other than all the negativity in the universe. There is nothing wrong with that Lemke10. Anyways, kudos to Barry Alvarez for stepping up and leading the Badgers to Pasadena and hopefully a Rose Bowl win.

Ben was a wonderful young man. He has many friends and a large extended family in the Orfordville-Footville area. His parents and grandparents are very well known by both communities. This is so sad that yet another young person has died overseas in a tragic turn of events. Please pray for Ben's family and all our troops still left to fight overseas. You are our hero Ben.

okay, how 'bout a list of GREAT bands?? AC/DC, Metallica, BonJovi, Lynrd Skynrd, Heart, Shinedown, Aerosmith, Lady Antebellum, my list goes on and on. There are some really talented recording artists out there that can sing even without the band backing them up. Those to me are good musicians.

The Brewers should be proud of what they achieved this year despite not getting to the World Series. They are an awesome team and deserve all the praise their fans have bestowed on them. If we can keep Prince that would be great, but there are plenty of good players that could take his place. They definetly work as a team and I for one support them all the way. Go Brewers!! We will get there next year!
