I don't believe they will find it in her favor to get anything from Kohl's or the Janesville Mall. I could see it if Kohl's was an accomplice to this crime, but they weren't.
Maybe she charged to much on her credit cards this holiday and needs money to pay them off.
I do feel bad for what happened to her but she needs to be more realistic on who is really responsible.

I believe the city knows how to plow but I'm sure it's difficult to be able to get to every street in a short amount of time..
We live in a apartment complex and it's their job to come and shovel the sidewalks but we know how hard it is to get to every one and we get out there and do ours to try to lighten the load with no complaining.
Just be patient people!

It's funny how one article about a fight between 2 girls that work at a strip club has so many people in an uproar. I'm not understanding why it had made the paper. Why didn't they just have it in the "Arrest" section and have the girls' name as being charged for battery or disorderly conduct?
It's not about which city is better than the other. There is no such thing. No matter where you go. There is good and bad in all cities.

I think the NFL channel should be an option. Either have all the Latino shows, religious and Lifetime or NFL ( sports ) channels at no extra cost.
Just like Charter took away the GSN channel. What was that all about? Do they honestly know what they are doing half the time? Our rates keep going up and we are paying for channels we don't even watch. Why not let us pick which channels we do want including NFL channel and get rid of the ones we can't watch because it's in a language we don't understand?

If this was the group homes rules to begin with on who was allowed to be there then why would they even consider Mark in the first place?
I'm so glad to hear that Mark will be kept where he and others will be safe. Mendota is basically all he knows and if that is where he feels safe then why change it? Nobody knows Mark better than Mark himself.

Why is it that everytime the kids have something to do the city wants to take it away? Why won't they build an outside skate park? It makes more sense than a waterpark!

Remember a few months back when that young girl from around the Oklahoma area was taken from her car and was found dead in the woods? To my knowledge the family never sued that Wal-mart store for lack of security.
People are not blaming the victim here. It's like many have said that we cannot understand why the Mall or Kohls should be held responsible for this. You take a look at some other shopping centers in the area, they have little or no security at all. I myself always prepare for the worse. Just a habit I guess, but I have also warned my daughter of the dangers no matter where she goes now that she has a drivers license. The main thing I have told her is never park next to any van on the sliding door side. I remind her everytime she goes out. She gets a little upset with me cause I remind her but atleast I know I have tried.
And if something like this was to happen to my daughter I could honestly say I would never hold the Mall responsible in a case like this. I would maybe get with the Mall and see how we could improve it without a lawsuit. Just like being on a safety committee you see how you can improve your surroundings. How can you make it a safer place to be.
