"Dad shared you with one of his friends. Thanks to you, that friend molested me. He kept doing this. I told my dad, and thanks to you, he blamed it on me. ...I'm always living my life in fear that you will come back and destroy everything"
Now I've heard it all....blaming pot for turning someone into a pedophile.
On Walker doesn’t want state employees at new agency

I have seen many state, county and city employees fired for poor performance. I don't know where either of you are getting your information. The union does get involved, because they're UNION. However, if you make mistakes and can't correct your work, you're gone.
It's interesting that Scott Walker screwed up the entire welfare system in Milwaukee County, so much that the State had to take it over, and he thinks his ideas regarding this will bear fruit.

So, they were on contract. With the economy, the Humane Society took in many, many more animals for the same contract price. Their prices go up, and the city doesn't want to pay?

I used to hate unions, because I sincerely felt that they protected poor workers (and still do, in some cases). When I became union, I was dismayed to see what some people did.
Then, years ago, I was accused falsely of something by a vindictive fellow employee. Without the union, I doubt that an actual investigation would have been done, and I would have lost my job, unfairly.
My insurance may "paid for:, but I would gladly pay for my insurance if it would cover more. A deductible of $1500 per year, then they only pay 70%, medications are $35. Those of us with health issues are in the hole.
If people took the time to look at the actual human price, you'd understand.
You think teachers have a part-time job? Then you try it. You think cops and firefighters have it great? Again, do their job.
The simple fact is that people are jealous that public employees have secure employment (until now).
