I don't see why a flower shop wouldn't just go ahead and take the order, then say that the delivery van 'ran out of gas' on the way to the delivery.

Great idea hg. I started collecting all of the newspaper parts that are blowing around our neighborhood. Some morning, about 3AM or so, I will deliver these to the Gazette, probably right outside of their front door. You would think that the Gazette, being such a huge contributor to our litter problem, would take it upon them themselves to go around town and pick-up their shameful, steady stream of trash.

smallBIZ - the same here in the Loch Lomond subdivision - the city decided not to plow for a couple of snowfalls. The city plowwing here has only been acceptable in 2 of the past 34 years, yet we pay the same property tax rate as the rest of the city. What we need is to have someone 'locally important' to move out here so that we can get a fair shake when it comes to plowwing.
