Back to the topic at hand. Even though Rodgers still had a couple of years on his contract, this was a great move to demonstrate to him how committed the Packers are in keeping him! Go Pack Go!!

It is difficult that a page such as this is even necessary in 2013. But it is.

Ivoted... said, "The progressive ideology uses such things as supposed racism to pass "hate crime" and "hate speech" laws that infringe on our rights..." You absolutely cannot be serious!! These laws infringe on your right to attack people....to be a racist? There is a growing sickness, a moral decline, in this nation promoted by people like this. It is very sad to witness.

Reagan?? Where did this come from...LOL. I certainly hope you are not suggesting that there is any meaningful comparision between these two Presidents. If it is yet just another attempt at a personal attack, you really have to get a grip.

President Lincoln's early view of slavery was akin to what some are saying here. In an August, 1862 letter to Horace Greeley, Lincoln made it clear that if he could save the Union without freeing slaves, he would do so. He based this letter on the premise that slavery would run its course and disappear. He would later come to alter his beliefs and make the elimination of slavery his greatest priority. Some here apparently believe the same is true regarding racism. That it will simply run its course and disappear if we do not keep emphasizing it. This is an easy statement to make when one is not on the receiving end. I am quite sure that our nations greatest President would not agree with the premise of some here.

On Presidents praise George W. Bush at new library

"There’s at least some evidence that Americans are warming to Bush four years after he returned to his ranch in Crawford..." It has certainly been the last eight words that provided the warming.
