Good job snazzy, you called me uneducated less than 10 words in to your post. I'm not going to get into a personal war of words with you, but I would like to know why you think this woman should be coddled and babied by our nanny state. Maybe if we all gathered around her and sang Kumbaya, she would be cured of her 'disease'.

We need to get tough on crime, and stop enabling people like this. The costs to society- financial and otherwise- are just too high. There is too much at stake. Most crime is committed by people with a long rap sheet. If these people were dealt with harshly and put away, they would no longer be a threat. Let's stimulate our economy and create some jobs by building more prisons and hiring more prison guards. We can't be so narrow minded to continually use cost as our excuse at the expense of public safety.

For those of you "treat her" people, I would argue that there are many men out there who have a "little boy problem" instead of an alcohol problem. Should we treat them as well, allowing them to live among us, while crossing our fingers that they don't re offend? Oh wait, we do already, thanks to liberals like you.

This woman doesn't need help, she needs to be locked away for good for the public safety. I'm more concerned about the needs of the innocents on the road than I am for her needs. She's not an infant, she's had plenty of time to seek help on her own.
