If none of you live in the village, own property or work in the village then you have no stake in whether Devoy is employed or not employed in the village. The only reason you would continue to "rant" on these blogs is that you feed on the negativity that you push. Just because citizens do not want Devoy back DOES NOT MEAN that they support other officers or even all of the "4" board members. People can have differences in opinion and according to the Constitution and Bill of Rights people CAN. If you have no stake in Darien then the only proper thing to do is BACK OFF! For the Citizens out there who either want or don't want Devoy back let ALL of your Village Trustees know how you feel. Either verbally or in writing, come to the Board meetings and speak your thoughts.

Perhaps 4 of 6 Board Members actually give a hoot about what the Citizens of the Village of Darien really want! The good of the Village is to not employ people that do not have morals or good work ethic. Mistakes of the past board are done and gone, we are dealing with a completely different Administration and we have a lot of re-organization to do within our current employees Especially with those that do not want to do right by the citizens. Those who only support Devoy are just as closed minded as those who you claim have a "personal vendetta" I would like to see our Village succeed and move on. Look at the facts (ALL OF THEM) and then come to your conclusions. My neighbors and I witnessed the accused waste MY TAX DOLLARS spending hours day after day for months "chatting and doing God knows what" with my neighbors wife while my neighbor was serving his country in IRAQ! So don't preach to me on what kind of good guy the accused is!

-- DeVoy would not get involved—directly or indirectly—in village politics. I find this will be impossible for him as he has built and strengthened his relationships with current Board members over the past 10 months
