It wasn't news as millions of private sector workers lost their jobs since Obama took over. But now, a handfull of public workers lose their jobs and it's big news. What a joke.

Buying American made only if strictly for the well-to-do. American made cars, for instance, are overpriced (by $8,000 or more for the models I need) and that makes a huge difference in my budget. Tariffs allow me to buy Hondas and continue supporting the U.S. government, without having to support the seedy, corrupt U.S. auotmakers.

I rely on imports to make ends meet. We live in a 'global' economy and I'm taking advantage of the lowest price.

It looks like I'll be the last entry in your last blog. Nobody can take away the memories we have of what Janesville 'used to be'. I'm glad that you shared many of yours with us. I wouldn't give mine up for a million dollars.
