Wislady, the point of this is not to look through the "key hole" at Wisconsin only, but to compare Wisconsin the rest of the states. Under Doyle our job loss was less than the country in general. However, under Walker our job gain is less.

Wisconsin also had the 4th highest wage loss in the same period.

Wislady, these are the "corrected" numbers. While they show we gained jobs, we were 44th for jobs growth. Your link only shows the number of jobs not the ranking against other states.

The President doesn't have the ability to determine the cuts. Under the legislation passed by Congress, each program must be cut. Because the Republican refused to negotiate a "Grand Deal" non-targeted cuts will continue.
