I don't care if you light fireworks. But, our idiot neighbors like to light them off over MY yard. Every year, I spend the next day picking up their fireworks garbage out of my yard. People can have fun (fireworks) and still be respectful.

We went to Freedomfest and the fireworks were AWESOME. I get so tired of hearing the Jaycees whine and mispend the money they get/have. New Life doesn't seem to have any problems getting donations and sponsors for their event. I think Janesville needs to re examine their 4th of July celebration--it's just a big joke!

We don't go to the fair anymore at all. With a family, it is just too expensive. We take the money we'd spend and go to Six Flags. I know the fair is for the 4-H and if my kids were in 4-H, we would certainly go. But, without that-- we'll take our money and do something more worth while!
