On Redacted truth, subjunctive outrage

About your Fox story Walter.
The accusation was against an AFFILIATE, not the Fox News Network. (I gather that your boycott only targets the Tampa affiliate WTVT.) The outcome was over Ms Akre’s status as a whistle blower, not about Fox promoting false stories as you allege. As a matter of fact the allegations made by Ms. Akre were exploited for a movie. (Michael Moore anyone?) There was not a judgement or jury decision regarding Fox News Network and false reporting or the promotion of untruthful stories.
Some Excerpts:
“Jane Akre is best known for the whistleblower lawsuit by herself and her former husband, Steve Wilson, against Fox Broadcasting Company station WTVT in Tampa, Florida…a Fox Broadcasting Company affiliate.”
“The trial commenced in summer 2000 with a jury dismissing all of the claims brought to trial by Wilson, but siding with one aspect of Akre's complaint, awarding Akre $425000 and agreeing that Akre was a whistleblower because she believed there were violations of the Communications Act of 1934 and because she planned on reporting WTVT to the Federal Communications Commission. …An appeal was filed, and a ruling in February 2003 came down in favor of WTVT…the whistle-blower law did not qualify as the required "law, rule, or regulation" under section 448.102 of the Florida Statutes”

The larger point, Walter, is that if you take the same criteria you used to dismiss Fox News and applied that critereia to President Obama it should yield the same result.

WalterReuther May 19, 2013 at 1:26 p.m. Thanks for proving my point. Actually you prove a larger point. If you dismiss Fox News because of one incident of indescretion (which you embelished just a bit) then you must also dismiss Huffington Post, MSNBC, CBS News, NBC News etc etc.
I am not so shallow as to get my information from one source, but you knew that. You just enjoy being a pompous...

Pharm: Sorry, posting the opinions of others is not getting both sides of anything. It's just you letting others speak for you.

BTW I asked a question, how is that a refusal Walter?
As informative as they may or may not be, 'cut and pastes' are selective and lack any insight on the subject by the poster. Does that mean the poster has no insight?
I do look at both sides of every issue unlike those that claim to be open minded but then dismiss Fox News with names like Faux News. Sound familiar?

On Milton school staff morale at ‘all-time low’ over plan, teachers say

Posted on May 19 at 8:11 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

There was a time when teachers EARNED the right to be looked up to and revered. That time has recently passed.
.
"For years they agreed to lower pay to have better benefits."
This is one of the biggest myths perpetrated by the teachers union. Teachers have an unusually high sense of self importance and their place in the overall scheme of things.
They wail about extra hours and taking work home and additional education as if their profession is the only one that has these 'pitfalls'.
When their were good times in Janesville teachers were envious of their student's parents and percieved that they all had high paying easy jobs. The teachers union used this envy to negotiate not only a competitive salary but 'Cadillac' benefits. It was so easy when they were negotiating with themselves and the taxpayers had money.
When hard times fell on the taxpayers the self important teachers refused to budge and modify their demands. The end result was Act 10.

gbwbill May 18, 2013 at 10:32 a.m.:Your post is one of 2 things and neither is flattering.
The first is that you do not want opinions other than your own to be heard. The second possibility is that you have an axe to grind with Dr. Krauthammer.
Since you did not elaborate on the latter I am assuming the former.

Really Uhtred???
For 8 years the left called President GW Bush many names. For 8 years liberals portrayed President Bush as a dunce, a torcherer, and a drunk. Was that not driven by pure hatred?
This is not to mention the scorn directed at Governor Sarah Palen, her family, and Senator McCain. (Families are off limits in most endeavors, even to the mafia).
I could even go local and talk about the treatment by the left of Governor Walker and Congressman Ryan.
Ears Uhtred????
