Does anyone finish what they started? I would have much more respect for the Coach if he had announced on Jan 2 after the end of the season. But he leaves them hanging in the middle season with a major bowl game left to play. I commend the team Captains for asking Barry Alverez to be their coach for the final game (the Rose Bowl). They are the true leaders here! Good luck Badgers at the Rose Bowl!

I'm with you Haaseman. Neighbors have parked in front of my house the last two years. I say we go back to the good old days and burn them. It smelled really good in the fall and took care of many of these problems.

This is the government at work for you. The old system has worked just fine for probably over 50 years. The FCC now mandates narrow-band for govermental agencies. Could have been a simple software conversion on the current radios and system. The audio quility would have been slightly degraded, but still perfectly good. But no; we the taxpayers just forked out almost two million dollars for a system that does not work reliably! As an amateaur radio operator myself; I understand the importance of emergency communications, and it is vital of our police and fire personal. With that being said the old saying of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!" I think certainly applies here. But when the government looks at the taxpayer as an endless money pit, this is what happens. I say go back to the old analog system, count your losses and learn your lesson for the future!

I hate to say it but GoodAmerican is right. I went to a Dayton Dragons (same league;just the east conference) game last summer; and wow what a difference. On par with a triple AAA team! Not far from a major league stadium (just not as big)! Beloit is going to have to have to get a better stadium if it wants to compete!

I don't care what the other haters say; cool car! I have read about the T5 Mustangs in magazines; but never saw one in person. Having two Mustangs myself, I must congrate the owner and admire his passion. Great Job!

And this decesion after how many millions of taxpayers dollars did we waste? Does the old saying "if it ain't broke; don't fix it!" sound familar?
