I have to add, that I am one of those rare full-time working moms in my area, and my kids go to a babysitter in Briar Crest, if they drop the bus routes, my babysitter will have to pack up all the kids she watches twice a day and haul them back and fourth to Harmony, and I don't want that to happen especially when the roads are bad in the winter. It is a stupid proposal. And are the angry parents going to have a chance to state their opinions at a meeting with the busing company and the School District or is this going to be one of those things where they just do it and don't care what we think? We just pay for it anyway with our outrageous taxes.

Isn't there a better way to save money than to cut the busing. My god I could never trust my 8 year old to walk that far to school. I live clear over by Penny's daycare. He would have to leave at like 6 am to make it that far to school. They have had busing this long for a reason. We need to focus on what is important, saving money or the safety of our children.

Is'nt the cow supposed to represent dairy and Wisconsin? Since when did it start representing a Taco chain? I can't beleive who ever is in charge of it let it go on? Does Janesville need more buffets and Taco chains? I guess we can now be the city of Taco's instead of parks. God forbid we get a decent resaurant here. I think it should be moved across the new street too Menards, so it isn't related to Del Taco. It looks like Del Taco's Mascot and we all know it it's not! Why should they be able to use it like that? You should be ashamed of yourself Del.

This is great news, congrats!!! I really hope they either start a new brick wall for Craig grads, or bring over the old one to the new location. I signed that wall with my husband and I look for it every time I go to visit. I love to show it to my kids. I hope this means that they may consider Sunday hours also. For some reason I always crave Italian house on Sunday when there closed. Can't wait to see the new place.
On Group works to restore shine to gem of a park

I am so very happy to hear we are finally doing something to renovate Riverside Park. I lived at the park when I was a young child. I truely think it is the most beautiful park we have. I would love to have the wading pool open again. Anyone remember the snail monkey bars? Can we have that back too?

School suppplies alone I spent 90$, that was not including the back pack and gym shoes. Why do we (parents) have to buy the kleenex, disinfecting wipes, ziplock bags, and hand sanitizer? That is why it is so much.
