On Charter outages affect Rock County customers

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a fan of Charter Internet Service one bit. I have it at home and a recent report on customer service from cable companies said it all. To be fair however, this outage is not accurately reported. Construction crews accidentally cut a major internet backbone fiber from Level 3 communications while working on I-94 near Chicago. This cut affects most customers of every Internet service provider between the cut and the next nearest node. As such ISPs need to reroute internet traffic around the outage and this can cause significant delays. This is not a Charter issue. I can say for a fact that I have TDS business internet and we have been suffering along with everybody else.

My poor poor oversight. I too wish to express my condolences to all the family and friends of thise involved.
My previous post by no means is an effort to suggest blame or fault. Accidents do and will continue to happen. We owe praise to these and all of the other working men and women that put there lives at risk so that others may live

Last time I checked night vision goggles only display a 2 dimensional picture (like a mini TV screen). I would think that you kind of need the 3rd dimension (depth perception) to fly a complex piece of machinery like a helicopter. I also think that the military uses night vision but requires at least a pilot or copilot to be normally sighted. Med-flight flies with only one person operating the controls. This is for weight and balance issues with regards to the patient and all the medical equipment on board. Maybe adding an additional crew member might be the way to go.

It'd be nice if a real home improvement store ie: Lowe's opened up in this town.
I'm craving the Chili's, TGI Fridays rumor. How about a Red Lobster too while we are at. Maybe they could buy out Shakeys

Gimme a break. Are you actually going to call Charter, wait on line for about an hour just to get your prorated $.67 credit (internet plan $19.95/30 days in billing cycle). That's if they do give you one at all.
Why doesn't everybody get a life, put their internet porn down for 5 minutes and go outside and enjoy the day.
