Yes, that Maple is truly a wonder. It is also my favorite fall tree. My yard is full of Oak trees and this year is the first I've seen the leaves almost red in my neighborhood. Perhaps our cool summer hand something to do with that?

I have a friend who used to live in a suburb of Detroit, called Garden City. Now that was a dangerous place to live. I was shocked when he told me he spent Halloween night up on his roof with a hose, as people liked to set fires! Crazy!

I agree with you Beee80. They worked, they should be paid. If they don't want them being paid, then don't have them work. Have it be all volunteer.

What I always thought was ridiculous about WIC is that they don't allow "light" juice! The amount of sugar in Juicy Juice is unbelievable. I wonder how many kids were mis-diagnosed ADHD and it was because of their high sugar diet?
