We are talking "seconds" these officers have a chance to react. If the officer pulled his gun or shot the suspect he would have been critized for reacting by pulling his gun. Thank God there were only minor injuries to these officers. Personally, the suspect should be beat for causing the trouble in the first place.

Perhaps the accident occured when Mom notice the little girl was out of the seatbelt and so she went to "stop immediately" and slid into the snowbank.
On Magnolia Town Hall water high in nitrates

Twenty years ago I lived in Spring Valley Twnshp. and a shed that had farm "chemicals" in it caught fire (no cows). The state came and tested our water and our nitrates were over 22 parts per million. We didn't have any babies nor was I pregnant so we still drank the water. Didn't hurt us. The neighbors on both sides had low nitrates. When you live in "farm" country I believe most places will have something in their water. Buy a water purifier, it will take most everything out of the water. Or move to town.

Quota is the "reason" people give for getting the speeding ticket. It doesn't matter that they were speeding in the first place. Maybe the new computer system will make you think the next time you think about speeding. Or at least it won't take you as long to wait for the ticket!

Yes he was aiming for his family. I'm sure there are a few men out there at one time or another thought about shooint their Mother-in-laws, he wasn't aiming at her. He had threatened to "get them" meaning his wife and kids. His Mother-in-law was trying to protect her family. It is a shame she was hurt and the officers only did what they HAD to do to protect the innocent.

Nizzles must have been on the "wrong" side of the law at one time or another. My full support goes to the officers and Mr. Harrington's family. Obviously, he was deeply troubled to take the route he took. I pray that the injured Mother-in-law is able to recover from her injuries. And that everyone involved can come away from this tragic event with a deeper faith and now know what is truly important in their lives. Coming from a family that has law enforcement officers in their family I know no officer goes to work hoping/expecting to have to do what these officers had to do.
