Falsified certification!?! That sounds like a criminal act to me. Boy, we throw the book at little-time embezzlers, but we make a non-binding gentlemen's agreement with a polluting corporation?! Reading into the story, it seems we're not even going to have any kind of disclosure of what they did and of what kind of particles were released into our air.

I just wanted to point out that we used to avoid the word, "pregnant" when describing a woman's condition, even though we now regularly congratulate couples for getting pregnant. The words that had to be used to describe pregnancy were varied and showed a more sophisticated vocabulary, and yet I'm pretty sure that most people here would see it as an improvement that we no longer use terms like "with child."

I'm unclear as to why there is no requirement that landlords have carbon monoxide detectors. I'm also unclear why landlords wouldn't voluntarily install them. Perhaps there was one and it malfunctioned?

Ever thought that the laws that protect the freedom of pharmacists -- and therefore allow them to lord over their customers -- might have something to do with this? I'd just prefer to get my birthcontrol from someone who doesn't raise his eyebrows at me -- or worse yet refuse to give it to me.
