bennetonf1-yes they have "Industrial Arts" classes, but they call it "Tech Ed" in middle school, once they get to high school they can go more in depth depending on what they want to learn. (woodshop, auto, construction, design etc.)

They offer a decent selection and affordable price points, I bought a sofa from there about 20 yrs ago and just passed it on to one of my children. It's still holding up very well.

The impression I get is the problem is in the language of the proposal. Once it is written in a handbook retracting things would be difficult. Some of the requirements are, collard shirts, skirts of modest length (who decides what is modest)shorts with 5 inch inseams, and at least 3 pockets. No capris unless they are part of a suit (but shorts are ok) tatoos are questionable, and the list goes on. So at what point does it stop. Teachers were qualified enough to be hired, now let them teach. Appropriate Attire(as it states now)is all that is needed. The rest is overkill.

wiselady- no offense but they ALL lie, and I am respectful, which is why I hate all the narrow minded comments some people direct at others. Everyone has the right to believe what they want, but nobody has the right to force their ideas on someone else. Just because someone thinks something, doesn't mean they are right, they do however have the right to think it. The point is some people always point fingers and try to shove their ideas down everone elses throat. So my message to ALL is don't be THAT person. wiselady-it's the majority of voters who blame Bush, keep Obama out of it. I don't agree 100% with our president, but he did't create this mess, therefore I will not blame him. When we only think one way we miss a whole world out there. Just like I hate the fact that our money paid for Ryan's protection, but I don't deny that it was what needed to be done at the time. Don't care who it is, there are certain things that have to happen in the world we live in.

donnaw- Obama is STILL digging out from Bush. Like I said before some people have too much time, all they want to do is attack others. Maybe those folks should find something productive to do like, I don't know, help those in need, pull weeds at Rotary, clearly they need a positve hobbie 'cause all I see from them is negative. It makes me very sad to see the same couple of people ALWAYS on the attack here, I am sorry life is sooo boring that you can find no other outlet. This is a great place for opinions', but just cause you think it, doesn't always make you right. Don't belive everythink you think, keep your eyes and mind open.

Doesn't the President need a college degree? As a college drop out is Walker even qualified to run? Not positive, but something to check into before everyone gets worked up one way or the other.
