Is this the first time there has been a difference in interpretations of the law? I think not.

I'm glad Mercy provides so many excellent programs and services right here in our backyard. I'm thankful they are committed to this community in spite of the nasty things said about them. There are plenty of us who have had only positive experiences. We just don't use this type of media to voice our gratitude often enough.

It's great to see expansions like Mercy's on the horizon. Lord knows we need more jobs created in this scary time of so many losing their jobs. Thanks Mercy for giving me something positive to think about in today's gloomy environment.

I heard Mercy put a lot of money into the fitness area and it is really nice. Seems like it is an amicable parting of the ways to me. What companies aren't reevaluating and restructing these days?
On St. Mary's Janesville Hospital breaks ground

A postponed (or maybe never-to-be) groundbreaking could behoove Dean. Who knows how many people will need to leave the area over the next couple years to find jobs. Who wants 2 hospitals in Janeville with duplicated services and empty beds and unused services? A diservice to all. I would have liked to see Dean make a responsible business decision to see how Janesville evolves over the next couple years before moving forward with their hospital.

Bravo Mercy Employee. Why can't everyone try to see the good side of a story rather than dig for the negative? Less bleeding, shorter hospital stay ... sounds good to me!
