The blame for the credit card fraud and miss use of cash funds should also be placed on library board members and the librarian.

As an eyewitness to this incident, I observed Mr. Chesen, then alderman, and his wife, then police commissioner, corner and question this lady. This was an abuse of power by then alderman and police commissioner Chesens. Beware citizens of Lake Geneva- the Chesens are turning this city into a police state.

Mirbeau-Hummel are just what Lake Geneva needs. More good neighbors filing lawsuits against the city. This is already costing the tax payers added expenses. I hope this tactic of threats does not scare the aldermen.
On Wis. has new toll-free number to report government waste, fraud

I belive the question here is, will the state do anything about these complaints, or just refer them to the local County DA? In Walworth Co if they are refered back to the DA nothing will get done.

The waiver granted to Applebee's restaurant is one of many examples of the City of Lake Geneva's selective enforcement of it's own codes. This selective enforcement is chronic. It is the responsibiility of the city council to uphold codes not undermine them. This is not being done with the current administration.
