"woody would rather nit pick on Romney's investments ASSUMING they are illegal rather than focusing on the enormous failures of Obama's decisions that affect our everyday lives and those of our children and grandchildren."

So by stating these decisions will affect our children and Grandchildren You are saying that your Republicans wouldn't be able to FIX it in two generations?? OH RIGHT..and Obama should be able to correct the horrible catastrophe he was handed in less than 4 years.

I have been sitting back reading your arguments over public vs. private schooling...a bit off subject but.. 1life..I respect your wishes and values you hold for your children. However, don't judge or put people down for defending the public school system. For some of us it is the best we can do. You want to privatize all schools..how ridiculous is that. How many families can afford to put their children in private schools? What if YOU became unemployed? Are the churches ready to educate (free of charge) the many children whose parents cannot afford their schools? or are you going to foot the bill?

Gonfo ..obviously you were not there ... Seem there were not only 60 officers..secret service but Swat Teams from Rock Co. and Dane Co. Special Emergency response vehicles...Don't fool yourself...the expense for Romney and his HUGE entourage is staggering.
Also I think folks would not harbor as much animosity towards DH if she paid taxes like everyone else. When Billionaires don't pay their fair share..yea..it's irritating.

Parents need to be allowed to start PARENTING again. Have they figured out that being overindulgent and using 'time out' is not working. Kids today have NO respect for authority of any kind.Teach kids a little respect and alot of these behavior problems would go away. It seems that overindulging has taken the place of good parenting...Things seem more important than spending time and parenting children. You would see vast improvement if more families sacrificed some material things to stay home and raise their kids themselves.
