On “WE WANT A VOTE!” We deserve a vote on gun controls!!

It is frustrating how bills can be held up and not voted on...I can see being held up to make sure the public has time to learn about a law before it's passed..I do think this about this round of gun control laws...Even the Democrats don't have enough votes to pass this..The majority of people realize that said laws are just "politics" and are never enforced..Plus they accomplish nothing.
On Elections? Outcomes? Voting?

My only frustration about voting is this...Most people that talk or complain about politics bring up national or state races...Yes president and or governor is important, but why just those positions? Why are most just voting for people in Washington for change in Wisconsin? Why are most voting people in Madison for change in Janesville or Ashland? Then when there is local elections voters "check out"...However, lower turn out means that my one vote counts so much more.

Is there anything more "spinable" than job numbers? You can debate them like a dog chasing his own tail...Yet all the hacks on both sides foam at the mouth every time they are reported..
On Wisconsin union officials question Caterpillar layoffs

Axo..Sorry it’s not the unions saving drinkers and "smokers" jobs..If you are caught doing these things and you say you have a "problem" by law the company has to offer treatment...I do have to argue that limiting unions hurts jobs. Especially when stats show that a rite to work state flourishes. My opinion is that unions stand in the way of hiring who the company wants to hire..The union at Cat is trying to get the tech schools in Milwaukee to stop training workers for Cat because of the fear of a strike. If the union strikes at Cat the company will hire said workers to fill their spots

I'm in the same business as Cat..I can vouch that mining is slowing down..What amazes me is that unions have always back the politics that are against mining..Then they wonder why a mining company wants to lay off????

On Teachers union to school board: Negotiate or face lawsuit

The only problem is that Act 10 has not been over turned...If act 10 goes to the Supreme Court and is upheld then the contract is not valid...The school board would be wise to wait til Act 10 works it way completely thru the system..

The only problem is "righties" aren't in control in Milwaukee or Chicago...Shocking I know...Plus the Bad River band of Chippewa's waste water plant hasn't passed an EAP test in years..So there goes the "who's for clean water" theory.
