So the city say YE go ahead and open your bar. The a few people complain that a bar is going in there. Where were these people and their fears before the council approved the permit?? Whay after the fact are they acting. Bobbleheads has volleyball and they are in Janesville!!!!! Most of the bars in janesville are in residential neighboorhoods. Hmmm Wish-e-washy

Ok Yuri I read your memo and still wonder why we need this committee and who will head it and pay for the time etc. It sounds like the previous committee did not care to be involved in the ice rink and it was passed off to another person.

How about forming a committee on ways to attract more companies to come to Janesville. And maybe a committee to help displaced workers instead of worring about an ice rink that nobody seemed to care about in the past.

I think that would be a better proposal.

After reading this story and all the comments I still see no proof that the Janesville Petland store or the owner have done anything wrong. What proof does Alegra or the protesters have that these dogs are bred in mills???? Do I think there are mills... Yes there are. But show some proof before you attack a local business.
