Well one day my mom brought over her dog so we could "babysit" her. She hadn't pooped yet that day. I was getting ready in the bathroom and heard her running around the house...(she does that when she has to go) and my 18-month-old son thought it was funny and was chasing her... the next thing I know he comes in the bathroom and I look at him and he goes, "Mama" and he has a whole handful of poop! He picked all of it up for me and brought it to me!! I screamed, "Oh my God!" and it scared him so he started to cry... but man that was a pretty interesting morning!!! At least he brought it to me and not sat there and played with it!!!

I think the tunnel is a great idea. A few years ago my family and I were trying to cross milwaukee street there and the cars were stopping for us as we started to cross, but the fire truck that was coming did not even slow down a bit. Let's just say I almost got hit by that fire truck, which had only a couple blocks to go to its destination, the fire station, and why on earth wouldn't it have stopped for pedestrians in a crosswalk?? Very dangerous including that the fire station is right there and i hear sirens going a lot down there.

I just would like to comment that for those of you who say to close the building are you willing to care for the patients there that are not able to be taken care of by their families? I have an aunt who lives there. She has been there for a long long time only because we do not have the equiptment to help take care of her. If it was not for Rock County she probably would be somewhere else where we would not be able to see her and help out as much as we do. I think that who ever wants to close Rock Haven needs to consider thsoe who cannot go home and cannot be taken care of by just any old nursing home. I belive that they need to build a new facility so that those who are there can continue to be taken care of like they are. Yes there are some querks about Rock Haven that I have but this is the only facility that is able to take care of her. For those of you who just say to close it I think you should take care of the patients then.
