I agree with ljs...they ARE juveniles! Teenagers do not have good judgment skills or always understand the consequences of their actions. I am in no way condoning what these kids did, but they are juveniles none the less.

I think it was a good idea to publish this article. There may be woman out there that did not know Wisconsin has a Safe Harbor Law and it could make a difference in some other new born's life. No one should judge the mother who left her baby at the Police station. What a hard decision to make and she made the most unselfish one ever. To say she shouldn't have conceived the child in the first place - all pregnancies aren't planned and this child was conceived and born for a reason, even if none of us ever know what the reason is.

If she had been 18 it would make a difference legally...she's considered an adult then. Morally, no, he still would have been married with kids.

Whether she was manipulative or whatever - HE is 32 years old with a wife. He had no business messing around with other women. Period.

I feel bad for his wife. I hope she realizes that this is about what a scum bag he is and not a refection on her. Kick him to the curb, sista!

Alcohol is legal also, but there are restrictions on where and how much you can drink and still drive. I've struggled with an addiction to nicotine for half my life and I fully support a smoking ban. If you don't smoke, you should not be subjected to breathing in cigarette smoke in a public place. Period. I know that view point is unpopular with a lot of smokers, but when I was smoking, I was more than happy to go outside and smoke. Clean air should definitely trump breathing in second hand smoke.
