On Assembly passes ultrasound bill

Posted on June 14 at 7:44 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

Wislady, Obamacare was debated and discussed for over a year. This bill was introducted and passed this week. And your statement that no one that voted for it read it is so ridiculous. There were senators and congressman who didn't read it just as there were those that did read it. Pelosi made her ridiculous statement because she's a moron, but that doesn't mean that no one read it.

Joker, so you disagree so your point of view should be pushed on others? Your moral views are so high that everyone should follow them?

Joker, I am anti abortion but I'm pro choice. I could never ask my wife to get an abortion and I would be devistated if she got one on her own. That being said, I am pro choice because other people have different opinions or live in different situations than I do. It's not my job to try to legislate what they can or can't do. You are asking people to try to see things from your point of view, but are unable to do the same.

Wislady, I'll stop asking because I know you won't answer because you can't defend what the Republicans did to day. You can try to deflect all you want, but its clear by your two wrongs make a right double speak that you are OK with your party doing things like this as long as they pass an agenda you agree with. If the US Senate or Presiden Obama acted like this, you would be the first to get on a soap box. Just remember that the right will not be in power for ever and at some point they will be in the minority.

So cutting off debate the way that he did is appropriate? I'm not asking what you thought of the Dem's reaction, I already know what you think of that. I want to know if you think that this was passed correctly. How would you feel if it was reveresed and your party was treated like this.

Wislady, how do you feel about how this bill was passed, not what was in the bill? Do you think this is the proper way for the Senate to be run? Do you think President Ellis should bang his gavel until it breaks?

Wislady, can you defend the Republican's actions, specificly President Ellis? Or can you only blame the other party?

This is not how Democracy or a Republic works! Shutting off the other sides microphones, stopping debates, yelling and throwing a tempertantum so badly that you break the gavel. This is disgusting and wrong no matter if you agree with the bill or not.

Ezoner, we do have a class system if you want something you have to pay for it. We offer free education to everyone. It's like saying some people ride the bus but other ride in a limo because they can afford to pay for it. You either have to give limos to everyone or outlaw public transportation.

#11 Senate President Ellis yells at the floor and stops any debate on the abortion bill yelling, "This bill is non debatable"
