It will cross his desk if the Libs get what they want, the retirement of a couple Conservative Supreme Court Justices. If that happens you better bet it will be the first thing the new guys do.

Our country is making it's way into a recession. All these illegals are not helping. There needs to be stricter immigration laws, now more than ever, yet we are heading in the opposite direction!

I love that those who speak of protecting the 2nd Amendment are subjected to ridicule while those who speak to protect our other rights are respected- when Bush was elected and Pro-Choice advocates began "fear-mongering" no one criticized them for ratcheting up fear.
I also find it amusing that the rest of the world thinks we should disarm like them and continually tells the United States that we need to be more like them. I seem to recall that most people in the United States came here, or had their forefathers come here, due to the lack of freedoms in other nations. If we wanted to do what everyone else did then we wouldn't need to be the United States- we would have remained a part of Her Majesty's Commonwealth.
Having said that, ignore which party is in power and look at the individuals- gun rights will be fairly well protected given that most of Congress is pro-gun (even with the new majority party). We still need to watch carefully though.

Gfan you can't even stay on topic, and you offend with almost every post. You were obviously a first hand witness to some of the things you can't quit preaching about. Whenever a story about ANY church comes up, there you are bashing Christians, and saying none of us care about "institutionalized child rape"!
Get up out of your chair and go to one of the states like Vermont, who are sanctuaries for child molesters. Tell them all about it. Heck, start your own church. You can call it the "Holy Catholic I sure hate em, church of one"
