Check out the website below to learn more about WIC. It is a great program and helps teach young children and families proper nutrition. plus they are big advocates for breast feeding.

ok people-- WIC is a program that promotes healthy eating in pregnant women and children. it is in now way connected to the federally funded Food Stamp program. Wic is very minumal assistance program that helps to ensure every child (rich or poor) is afforded the same rights to healthy foods. Quit dogging the program. Do some reading on it or go to the WIC office and ask to meet with someone to discuss yuour concerns. and STOP PASSING JUDGEMENT!

billnewbie-- There are things in place with home detention that keep inmates (yes they are still inmates) from drinking. Besides the GPS bracelet they are fitted with a bracelet that detects alcohol in your system. It act with the chemicals in your body and sends off an alarm anytime you have ANY alcohol in your system. maybe you should call the diversion program at the jail and ask for some more info before you make assumptions. Also, how else do you propose the county deal with the overcrowding of the jail? Hick up your taxes and build a bigger jail?? Then you could complain about paying such high taxes.

It was a great scene! The cops just looked at each other like he was an idiot and took him down. He layed there crying for a little bit. when JPD got there all they had to do was cuff him and take him. the off-duty cops got quite a kick out of it. They did a great job!!!!!
