On Packers' Harris sells out

Posted on January 8 at 5:21 p.m. ( Suggest removal )

Not a bad article. The title of it seems misleading. When I first looked at it, I thought it was about Al Harris, and that he had "sold out" on the Packers, and had left the organization with some bitter, parting shots. My second thought was that Al Harris might have been somewhere in the Janesville area and had attended a dinner or banquet of some sort, and that the occasion was sold out for all the people attending. Dujuan Harris? Hopefully, he will continue to do well enough so that I can remember his name. Lol

An amazing honor to be a general. What a great accomplishment. Congratulations!

On Langley, Plomb top All-Rock boys honorees

Justin Langley, provided he can keep his act together, may end up being a major league baseball pitcher some day. Would not surprise me if he even ends up on the all star team. Keep it together, kid!

On Middleton too much for Parker

Actually think Klawitter might be doing something right here. He is playing more girls and more underclassmen. While he would love to win it all this year, I think he realizes just what a great group of young girls he has. Paige Smith, Morgan McCulloch, and Jessica Thompson, amongst others, will be dynamite in the upcoming years.

On Brunner resigns from Janesville City Council

Thank you for your service George, blah, blah, blah. Heated battle involving a child custody case. I understand. George is still not above the law. If it was you or me, they would have locked us up,and thrown away the key. Can anybody say "Loophole"? He didn't actually hurt the officer.... Politics in Janesville as usual.

On Wisconsin facing a dairy deficit

Wouldn't the title of this article been a little less misleading if it read that Wisconsin is facing a milk deficit?

On Wisconsin high court race yields mixed results

I don't know. It's probably just me, but, anybody else out there find it a remarkable coincidence that somebody who had once worked for Prosser accidentally "misplace" 14,000 votes which would swing the election results back to Prosser?

On What kind of season do you expect the Brewers to have?

Posted on April 2 at 6:20 a.m. ( Suggest removal )

The Brewers are a good club. They have been so for a number of years. Still, they are removed from being a great club. Their pitching should be better which may mean a few more wins for the Brewskis, but their hitting seems to always be inconsistent. 83-79. You saw it here, first.

On Union asks automakers to 'keep Janesville in mind'

Such Idiocy! Such jealosy! Perhaps, just perhaps, the housing crisis and the subsequent rise in gas prices had something to do with this? As a GM employee that has transferred, I am sure I speak for a lot of other GM employees when I say that we look at your blogs with both bemused interest, and with disgust. Many of us don't even feel that a comment on our behalf is even worth putting on this wasted editorial. Always the GM bashers vs the saviors. Too much animosity. Too much hate.We feel bad, not only for ourselves, but also, all the other employees who lost their jobs as a result of the plant closing. Bad business environment in Janesville? Are you kidding? The UAW has degraded to a point already where GM is probably more than anxious to open plants.

On Milton selects new police chief

Almost seems funny that a guy with all his qualifications would even bother with being a Police Chief in a small, relatively quiet community like Milton,WI.
