On Hixson proposes highway renaming

Opps... Yes, it does hit a small piece of the Nass district. I agree he doesn't know how to play nice. It would make sense that Hixson is the lead on the bill, and Nass is lead co-sponsor. Yet, I don't think the Whitewater area has done itself much favors being represented by either of them.

Since the stretch of road is in Hixson's district, then he ought to be the one to do the heavy lifting, not Nass. At this point, I'm not surprised that this is the only way Hixson makes the newspaper anymore. He certainly hasn't done anything related to schools or jobs.

The talk has always been that Kind and Barrett wouldn't run against each other. Maybe neither of them want it. It doesn't say much for the sorry condition our state finds itself in.

Interestingly, I think $88 is the same amount that Rep. Clark would receive in per diem for showing up at the State Capitol that day.

No doubt that Rep. Wood is a trainwreck, but purely from a legal standpoint, should the Assembly be stripping him of his job PRIOR to a conviction for any of these arrests? I wish the guy would just resign and we could avoid the mess entirely.
