The district is taking another vacation from paying premiums into their self funded insurance plan. Looks to me like the teachers who voted no to the current contract knew what they were doing. What is the Union Leaderships position on this?

It's as much the Administrations fault as the coach if JamesBrown's comments are correct. Where was the AD to take care of these issues. I feel bad for the athlete's who have had to endure this type of leadership.

It's really sad that we are putting teenage student athlete's into the middle of adults petty squabbles over east-side vs. west-side and Beloit vs. Janesville. I've seen alot of soccer games that my grandson at Craig has played in and my granddaughter at Parker. I've always been impressed with the talents of them and their teammates both on the field and in the classroom. I'm sure it's the same in Beloit as well. The point of high school athletics is not about wins or losses, it's about helping them grow into productive members of their communities.

I went to this game tonight to watch my grand daughter play. I saw Columbus score a goal on themselves, but in this article it makes no mention of the "Own Goal". Is Parker padding players stats?

NVgrf you've been gone from Parker too long. Eight years ago I would have agreed with your post regarding Steve Schroeder, but recent history shows Dr. Schroeder in a different light. He's not the leader you describe. I'm just glad my youngest granddaughter only has a year left and I will be done with the JSD for good.
