On Law enforcement leery about concealed-carry legislation

what could be wrong with a law that 48 other states have had for quite awhile and they have absoulutely no problem with it. the crooks are carrying guns already. Why can't a law abiding citizen carry one, its in the constitution anyways and no training, registration is required or wanted. With the law in place serious crime will go down and there will be less roadrage incidents, because the crooks and trouble makers would worry about getting payback if they act up. Everyone will be much safer. You must realize the police can't protect anyone. They arrive after the fact when you're dead and gone. and when you see a car-jacking or kidnapping and are helpless to stop it unless you have a gun. Concealed carry has a strong calming effect on everybody. Independant studies have shown this in all 48 other states. Why deny law abidfing citizens their legal right to protect themselves and others and its stupid to require registration, etc. while crooks go around with conceled weapons. I don't see them having crooks registering their guns and people getting all stirred up about the crooks carrying guns.Whats wrong here.Passing coincealed carry would be like adding a thousand plain-clothed officers, without spending any tax dollars. Its a win-win matter.

Those being laid off and their teacher friends only have themselves to blame. They knew their greed would resault in layoffs, yet they voted for eactly that and they still don't get it. Unbelieveable these people are called teachers, when they can't even see reality. If they followed Gov. Walkers plan there would not have been any layoffs here. These teachers should have 30 students in their classes as teachers used to have. It shows there lack of ability. They really want as many teachers as there are students. Rather than being brainwashed by radical teachers, students should stay home and learn how to work and make a living.

Removing those officers from the middle schools was long overdue. They should never have been there to begin with. Get out in the street and fight real crime, instead of doing the teachers job and kiddie problems. If kids don't behave, kick them right out and restore discipline in the schools. We pay high paid teachers, and administrators who won't lift a finger and say a word to the kids who disrupt classes. Its a disgrace what they ignore and then expect someone else to help them out. Where is the teachers common sense. If you can't handle it, quit. All they do is cry about the kids, yet don't do a thing themselves. Anything goes with the teachers. I hear all about it, all the time.

Knilians is doing a great job. He won't let the hoot & hollar radicals who just shout & scream like a spoiled kid deter him. Someone else also made a good point, I never heard of a proffesional belonging to a extreme union. They usually belong to a profession group, not as out of control radical union. Unions by their own greed caused the loss of teacher and school jobs in Janesville. The school board is also to blame by agreeing to the great giveaway.
Two more years we will be free of their blackmailing greed. Thank Heavan.

Forty-eight other States have concealed carry laws and have no problems because of it. Why are ILLinois and Wisconsin so far behind on this. All the proof and facts show that when all those States changed, their State became safer. Bad people will always carry, why prevent good people the right to defend themselves? Many people have been saved by citizens who were carrying concealed weapons.
In these dangerous times, one has to protect themselves. The police can't protect you, ,they show up after your dead.

was anyone running against walker? Not anybody that had any sense or ideas that I recall.I would be ashamed if II didn't vote for an outstanding man like Walker.

Walker is trying to save the school system, so it can operate efficiently. If it runs with no change,it will be bankrupted. There is not enough money anywhere to keep it operating. The school district is broke, the city is broke, the State is broke and the federal government is broke. Tell me where all the money is for this. Its all operated on borrowed money, IOU's and federal reserve crooks printing money without any backing. A sure fire way to make us a 3rd world country.Would all you big spenders tell me where all this money is for high paid employees and excess union demands? The well is dry folks!

All the lies, cursing and screaming by those extreme radical protesters will be silenced tomarrow, when all their canidates lose. Judge Prosser will trounce that woman, who doesn't and couldn't qualify for dog catcher, under Gov. Doyle 4 times she tried and was denied a Judgeship. She has no qualifications at all.

I forgot to mention I have talked with many officers in sourhern wisconsin and the large majority are fine with concealed carry, but they can't speak out as many of the chiefs don't want anybody else to counter crime, as they might not be able to hire more officers to build an empire, as the serious crime rate might go down and they would be denied more officers. Its a lot of politics at the top.
