I voted NO, are you kidding me? this is like the war on drugs.. sounds good untill you really have to make it happen. Your not going to stop this in a bunch of addolesent teens! It will be a big waste of time for principles to get kids to stop name calling.. that is something you say to a third grader.

i just recently moved to another GM facility and the union in janesville is ten times better than here as far as working with mangement and doing what is asked of them. I dont think that this plant closeing has to do with the local union and more of GM's mismanagement

That sounds alot like Dallas stadium now, which is much safer for players and staff and allows for fans to line the sides for autographs

How narrow minded are people in this area that think that there will be gang members and trouble at a skate park? And to the person that wrote that people that play baseball dont skate board is insane@! I have family members that do both and get good grades in school. Why is it that all the communitys in the area consider a skate park a good alternative for kids and our backwards little town thinks we need new manhole covers. By the sounds of most of the comments you dont have family that likes to do that activity, it can be used for more than skateboards, also bikes and inline skates. How many kids does that cover now? Bottom line we need on and we need to do it soon... stop complaining.

I think we need to look out side of the city, the fair grounds have served their purpose when the were granted to the city many years ago, but now with groth of the city and the demands of the public we need to look else where. How long will it be befor the stands collapse? We also have many childrens art exibits that cannot be displayed properly because they dont have the room. What about the animals, this is a 4H fair, the facilitys for the barns are very sub par. And then there is the issue with the perfomers saftey and stage, we may be able to attract bigger names to the area with better facilites. If the facilites could also be used for concerts through out the summer in order to pay for the new site.

At what point did drinking not go on at a frat house? I thought that was why you joined. And why did it take how many years for UW W to find out that there was hazeing and alcholol together? Did some one just wake up and go those frat guys sure do drink alot.

Wow, in four years we can have them arrested for throwing a fit, like the 8yr old that was charged with battery. We should start teaching them in 4 yr old kindergarden what battery is so they know that it is something other than what their tickle me elmo runs on. 8yr old really?

i am so glad out tax money is going to pay for the legal costs to remove a chicken coop that has been there for years on an empty lot in an area that no one is going to build a new house except of habitat for humanity.
