This was community taking care of their own which is the best case scenario. Having the Federal government coming in is insultingly paternalistic; it's essentially saying that Janesville is incapable of taking care of itself. Nice.

Bebe---yeah, that's what vaccines are supposed to be for I am aware but the fact from last year here in Rock County is that the individuals involved were vaccinated and so far there is no information that the current illnesses resulted form lack of vaccinations so don't automatically assume they were not vaccinated.

When it happened in Rock County last year, they had had their vaccinations so don't be so quick to assume it's irresponsible people not getting their vaccinations that are getting sick.

It most certainly is targeting the military.
No other work or professional uniform have the same regulations that the military demands.

On Edgerton bus company calling it quits after 65 years

"calling it quits" is way different than "put out of business" -The Edgerton Reporter at least had the guts to say (or quote someone) that the vote to accept the new company effectively put Burns out of business.
Will the new company do as much giving to the community that Burns did? Lots of organizations and groups benefited from use of their buses and vans.
Maybe the school board saved money on paper (I'd like to know if the bid was really equal services for equal money) but in doing so I think they may have just screwed the town they supposedly serve.

I think there needs to be some serious thought about the almighty importance of school sports and before that we need to rethink letting such young male coaches around the high school girls. We need to get better at protecting our young people and everything else needs to come second to that.
