chelleandlou, I find your blanket statement of all sheep showman in Rock County more than offensive. How many showmanship competitions did you win and how much do you really know about showmanship? Did you actually raise sheep or are you currently in the sheep industry? I know you aren't. There are a number of terrific showman in this county in all species. Keep your negative comments to yourself unless you really know what you're talking about. This was a nice article about some hard working kids and a new feature to the Rock County Fair.
I agree with maven--good luck to all involved in showmanship at the fair next week and I hope the new Master Showmanship contest is a huge success. Thanks to Badgerland Financial for coming up with a super idea.

Dear chelleandlou,
You are quite the authority on the Rock County Fair as well as many other topics that you really know nothing about. Maybe you should go back to school (oh, I know you have your associate degree in dairy science) and learn how to spell instead of wasting your time posting on here.

The animals are most definitly NOT cooler at the fair. Exhibitors are not allowed to bring fans no matter how hot it gets down there. I can guarantee that our animals are much cooler at home where we are able to take care of them properly.
