On A fresh start for Rock County Humane Society
I would like to say "Thank You" to Angela Rhodes for her many years of helping to care for our lost pets - not many people make a career out of caring for these needy animals.
On Angela Rhodes out as humane society director
I, for one, would like to thank Ms. Rhodes for her years of service in caring for our lost and stray pets. Thank You. Right now, the RCHS is having a Valentine's Day pledge drive of sorts, so send in your donations.
On Homeless woman and her cat are living in a sport utility vehicle
There is no need for Mr. Angus to reply to wiscoheat (who hasn’t the balls to pick up a phone and call and lose his cloak of anonymity).
On Democrats, others call for Wis. Medicaid expansion
This is another one of our furor's ways of getting over 50% of the voters in the country hooked on handouts - he wants to secure votes while turning our country into a western version of Somalia.
On Walker: Changing Wis. electoral-vote process risky
Governor Scott Walker has already won 2 elections and can obviously win as many times as he wants in the future. I expect him to be a vice-presidential candidate in 2016, so he may choose to move-on to bigger and better things. With any luck, he and President Ryan will be able to do for the country what Governor Walker has done for Wisconsin.
On Still standing by: Little happening to restart GM plant
Toyota has passed-up GM once again. Maybe they will lease the Janesville plant and make Tacomas here.
On Why you should be optimistic about Janesville
Now that Toyota has re-taken the top spot from GM, maybe they will start making Camrys in Janesville - cross your fingers!
On Mounds casts off humane society
The pets at RCHS need our help now more than ever. To make sure 100% of my donations go to the pets, I purchase pet food and donate it to RCHS. I will be increasing my pet food donations this year, and, yes - I purchase the pet food from Mounds (and keep my receipts for tax purposes).
On Obama weighing executive action on guns
justchillin This might be where the dictator's trillion dollar coin comes into play - to pay for thousands of door-kickin boots and a loyal army of agents to do the kickin.
On The end of Gen-X in J-Ville
Good Bye Steve. I think I've read all of your blog entries. It's been a couple of years since you had a really good entry, so I guess your departure is long overdue.
