I'm just a little sceptical about it all. Wondering just how honest the outcome will be since Dr. Tom Evert is very good friends with the man who volunteered to give us this service free!

why don't you read the rest billnewbie - yes tx and fl have no state income tax, so obviously they are going to come out at the low end, but they get your money in other ways!! this is the last i am going to comment on this stupid issue.

Texas may not have a state income tax, but they get your money in other ways billnewbie! We have a 5.5% tax on food and products, while Tx has over an 8% tax just to name one. Lived there and believe me it wasn't cheap. My car insurance was triple of what I pay here . . . While I feel terrible and saddened about what is going on with GM, it is Lear and some of the other companies that I really feel sorry for. From my understanding GM employees will get 90% of their income paid for as well as their health insurance for the next two years, but Lear employees losing their jobs won't. Also has GM looked at the price of gas, who can afford those prices along with a hefty SUV payment, even the gas economy SUV's that GM has put are over 50 grand. There are not many people who can afford that. Put the blame on the big honchos in GM and not on the taxes in WI or even yet on the oil and gas companies that are running us all dry with their costs! I had a surburban (loved it) but had to get rid of it - my gas bills were higher than my car payments.

How can they say that there was no hit list? If he specifically stated kids and staffs names, isn't that basically a "hit list"? It may not be written down on paper, but to me, that would be a targeted group.

Latasha, I know exactly how cruel kids are, I see it happen everyday. You don't have to be teased to not like someone, there are many other reasons that people can't get along other than that. I realize that you are not defending him and I am sorry that you feel you have to be defensive.

Do you think there is a Halo3 game at the jail? Because that's where he is tonight. In all seriousness, I cannot believe that someone has threatened a school with violence and you boys can joke about him being the best Halo3 player. And do not go saying PUMA that there is no substance to any of this - there would not of been a lockdown and he would not have been taken into custody unless they had something substantial to go on. There were just a few kids on that list, and they were all forewarned about it this morning, and that wouldn't have happened if it was just nothing.

I agree with you busdriver. I also agree with greengina and that I hope this boy gets help. This is obviously a wake up call for all involved! My children go to Milton High Schoool and one of my children was supposedly on that list. When I talked to my child and some of the friends who were with him, they said that this child was never talked to, that he rarely talked to people and that they rarely talked back. They were surprised at Latasha's comment. As for the reasons of who and why certain kids were on that list, I heard all kinds of responses (one of them talked to his girlfriend, one of them talked to a friend, but ignored him etc). There are going to be lots of rumors of "why" going on. But regardless of why he did it, he needs some help and maybe now he can get it.

I said Diamondback that is was my understanding . . . I had heard this from a wife of a GM worker and from an employee of Lear who was getting laid off in July. So as I had stated, this was only from my understanding, I didn't state that it was a fact. Sorry didn't mean to get you or anyone so upset. My apologies.
